The All-New 2010 GX 460!
The All-New, 2010 GX 460 with standard Power Fold Flat 3rd Row Seating and a new, aggressive look, will be hitting the showroom soon. Customers have been hitting our blog daily for updates on the “middle child” of the Lexus Luxury Utility Family. New for 2010 will be a more fuel efficient, yet more powerful, 4.6 liter V8 engine. Coupled to a new 6-speed transmission, the 2010 GX will be even smoother than the 2009 model. Also, expect navigation (with back-up camera) as a standard feature, a first-in-it’s-class feature! The interior of the 2010 GX has been refined as well. With heated and ventilated front seats, active front head rests, and TEN airbags, the 2010 GX will be one of the most comfortable and safe vehicles in its class. The 2010 GX also features reduced road noise and wind noise through improved aerodynamics and adoption of acoustic glass. The biggest change to the 2010 GX will be at the backof the vehicle. In place of the huge “side swinging” rear door from the previous generation of GX is still there, but now the rear glass can flip open to set packages in without opening the whole door. The seats in the 2010 GX have been redesigned and feature even softer leather than the previous model. In addition, a larger compressor has been implemented for improved Air Conditioning performance. The “easier to fold” second row seat will make climbing into the third row much easier for the entire family. Expect to see more pictures and details as we get closer to the Official Launch Date.
